A redesign should make your website faster, clearer and better at winning customers — without losing the search traffic you already have. We start from what is working on your current site, redesign around what your visitors need, keep or improve your content, redirect every old URL and launch on a guaranteed date: 7 days for a service-business website once the scope is agreed.

What do we look at before redesigning anything?

Your current site, in detail. A redesign that ignores what already works is how businesses lose rankings and enquiries they did not know they had. Before any design work, we crawl the existing site to list every page, check which pages bring in search traffic and which have links from other websites, and review what visitors actually do — where they arrive, where they leave and which pages lead to enquiries.

We also look at speed on phones, how easy the site is to edit, and whether the content still describes your business. The result is a short written plan: which pages to keep, which to merge, which to rewrite and which to retire, with a redirect for each one that changes. That plan becomes the scope we agree in writing.

Signs it’s time

Do you need a redesign, or just a refresh?

Not every tired website needs rebuilding. If the bones are good, a refresh of the design and content can be faster and cheaper. We will tell you honestly which one you need.
A refresh may be enough if…
  • The structure works and only the look is dated
  • Pages load quickly already
  • You can edit content easily
  • Leads arrive steadily
Redesign if…
  • It looks wrong on phones
  • Pages are slow or hard to edit
  • Your services have changed
  • Visitors leave without enquiring
SEO

How do you keep Google rankings during a redesign?

By treating the move as carefully as the design. Every important old URL is mapped to the most relevant new page with a permanent redirect, so visitors, bookmarks and search engines land in the right place. Pages that rank keep their core content and topic, even when the wording and layout improve. Page titles, descriptions and structured data are carried over or improved, never dropped.

The new site is built on a private staging copy, so search engines never see a half-finished version. On launch day we check the redirects, submit the new sitemap and then watch Search Console in the weeks that follow, fixing any URL we missed. For larger or more complex sites, our technical SEO team handles the migration side in depth.

Moving hosts

Can you move the site to your servers at the same time?

Yes, and most redesign clients do. The new site is built and launched on servers we manage ourselves: LiteSpeed web servers, each site isolated in its own container, malware scanning and a web firewall, live kernel patching and off-site backups, with your site added to our Cloudflare account free of charge. After launch, a monthly care plan keeps it updated so it does not need another rescue in a few years.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Will we lose our Google rankings?
Not if it is done carefully. We map every important old URL to its new page and watch Search Console closely after launch.
How long does a redesign take?
A service-business website goes live within 7 days of the agreed scope, guaranteed. The clock pauses while we wait on content or decisions from you; larger sites get their own agreed timeline in writing.
Can we keep our current content?
Yes. We keep what works, improve what is unclear and only rewrite where it helps. Pages that already rank keep their core topic so they hold their position.
Does our site have to be on WordPress?
No. We redesign sites from most platforms. If you are moving to WordPress, we move the content and set up redirects as part of the project; if you sell online, see store migration.
Will the site go offline while you work?
No. Your current site stays live while we build the new one on a private staging copy. The switch happens on launch day.
Can we see the new design before it goes live?
Yes. You review the design before we build, and the full site on staging before launch.
What if our site is slow but the design is fine?
Then you may not need a redesign at all. Our speed and conversion work fixes slow sites without changing how they look — and our guide to why websites are slow explains the usual causes.
