Why WooCommerce

Why choose WooCommerce for your store?

Choose WooCommerce when control matters. It is free, open-source software that runs inside WordPress, so you own the code, the data and the hosting. There is no per-sale fee from WooCommerce itself, and almost any feature can be added — from made-to-order product options to wholesale price lists for trade customers.

That freedom has a cost: someone has to host the store, keep WordPress and every plugin up to date, and make sure an update never breaks checkout. That is the part we take off your hands. Your store runs on our servers, and the same team that built it does the updates and watches the site.

WooCommerce also sits naturally beside content. If your store needs guides, recipes, a blog or detailed product advice, everything lives in one WordPress site with one login. Not sure it is the right platform? Read our Shopify vs WooCommerce comparison.

Why host with us

Why does hosting matter so much for WooCommerce?

Most WooCommerce problems come from the hosting, the plugins or the updates. Because we manage all three, there is no one to blame but us — which is exactly how it should be. A store does far more work than a brochure site: carts, checkouts and stock changes cannot be cached like ordinary pages, so the server has to be quick on its own.

Before launch

What do we test before your store goes live?

A store is only finished when real orders go through cleanly. These are the checks every WooCommerce build passes before launch.
AreaWhat we check
CheckoutTest orders through every payment method, including failed and refunded payments
Shipping & taxRates and tax for each zone you sell to, including free-shipping thresholds
EmailsOrder, shipping and account emails arrive, look right and are not marked as spam
StockStock levels reduce on order and restore on cancellation; low-stock alerts work
SpeedProduct and category pages tested on a phone connection
SearchProduct schema, sitemap, page titles and redirects from any old site

Our guarantee

Your WooCommerce store live in 30 days, or your money back.

A standard WooCommerce store fits comfortably in 30 days. When the scope is agreed in writing, the date is guaranteed — and if we miss it for reasons on our side, the refund terms in your contract apply.
  • Scope agreed in writing first
  • The clock pauses while we wait on content, access or decisions
  • Refund terms written into your contract
  • Very large catalogs get an agreed timeline instead
Existing stores

Can you take over a WooCommerce store someone else built?

Yes, and it is one of the most common ways clients start with us. We begin with a review: which plugins are installed and still needed, how far behind the updates are, what slows the pages down and whether anything has been customized in a way that makes updates risky.

Then we move the store to our servers in a planned window, test checkout and emails on the new server, and switch over. If the store is slow, we fix the causes rather than hiding them behind caching — our guide to why websites are slow explains the usual culprits. If you want a new look as well, we can redesign it at the same time.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Can you take over our existing WooCommerce store?
Yes. We review it, move it to our servers and fix what slows it down.
Is hosting included?
Hosting and care are a monthly plan, quoted with the build so you see the full cost up front.
How big a store can you build in 30 days?
A standard store fits comfortably. Very large catalogs or complex integrations get an agreed timeline in writing.
Can WooCommerce handle subscriptions or wholesale customers?
Yes. Subscriptions, member pricing, trade accounts and minimum order rules can all be added with well-supported extensions or custom code. We recommend the simplest option that does the job.
Which payment gateways can we use?
Most major card processors and wallets have WooCommerce integrations. We set up the provider you choose and test it with real test orders before launch.
Will updates break our store?
Updates are where many stores go wrong, which is why we do them for you and check checkout, payments and emails afterwards. Custom code is kept separate from plugins so updates do not overwrite it.
Do we own the store if we leave?
Yes. The site, the data and the domain are yours. If you ever move hosts, we hand over a full copy.
