Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it and the rights you have. Last updated: 20 October 2026.
This website is run by SPEED LINX – F.Z.E. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” mean SPEED LINX – F.Z.E. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website.
You can also reach us any time through our contact page.
This policy covers personal information we collect when you visit this website, use its forms or contact us about our services.
It does not cover information we process on behalf of our clients when we build, host or run websites, online stores, Odoo systems, servers or email for them. That information belongs to the client, and how we handle it is set out in our contract and data processing agreement with that client. If you are a customer of one of our clients, please contact that business first.
When you send an enquiry. Our enquiry form asks for the services you are interested in, your name, work email, company, country, website, your message and how you heard about us. Some fields are optional.
When you request a free audit. The audit form asks for your name, email, website and your goals. We send a verification email to the address you give, check that you own or manage the website, and may decline a request — for example if we cannot confirm ownership.
When you email or talk to us. We keep what you send us and our replies, so we can follow the conversation and any proposal.
When you browse the site. Our own visit log (see below) and our security tools record technical information such as your IP address, the pages you view, your browser and device, the page that referred you and the time of your visit.
We do not ask for payment details, and we do not ask for sensitive information such as health data. Please do not include it in a message.
We use our own Site Activity plugin to keep a simple log of visits to this website. It runs on our own server and nothing is sent to an outside analytics company.
For each page view it records: your IP address, the page address (with sensitive values in the address hidden), the referring page, your browser’s user-agent string, the device type and operating system worked out from it, the approximate country supplied by Cloudflare, your screen size, the time of the visit and when the page was last active, and a random session code.
The session code is kept in your browser’s session storage under the name siteact_sid. It only groups the pages you view in one browser tab into a single visit, and is cleared when you close the tab. It is not a cookie and is not used to follow you on other websites.
We use the log to understand which pages are useful, to spot problems with the site and to recognise abuse. Old records are deleted automatically on a rolling schedule (by default after 365 days).
The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which provides our content delivery network, DNS and security (including a firewall and bot protection). Cloudflare processes your IP address and request information to deliver pages quickly and block harmful traffic. When it challenges suspicious traffic it may set strictly necessary security cookies — see our Cookie Policy. Our contact form and free audit form use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a message comes from a person, not a spam bot.
Our servers also run security software, including a web application firewall and malware protection, which logs IP addresses and request details to detect and block attacks.
We do not send marketing emails to people who have only made an enquiry unless they have agreed to receive them. We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
The website and the enquiries sent through it are stored privately in our website admin on our own managed servers in the Netherlands (EU). Our team may also receive an email notification of a new enquiry.
We use a small number of service providers to run the site:
These providers process information only to provide their service to us. Some of them may process information outside your country, including outside the UK and EU. Where that happens we rely on the legal safeguards that apply, such as standard contractual clauses.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
We keep enquiries, audit requests and related emails for as long as we need them to respond, to deliver anything you asked for and to keep proper business records. If you become a client, your contract sets out how we keep project information.
Visit log records are deleted automatically on a rolling schedule, as described above. Security logs are kept only as long as they are useful for preventing and investigating attacks.
If you ask us to delete your information we will do so, unless the law requires or allows us to keep it.
The site is served only over HTTPS. Our servers are built to a hardened security baseline, kept up to date, monitored and backed up. Access to enquiries and logs is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will act quickly if something goes wrong.
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, data protection law (the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR) gives you the right to:
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us.
If you are in the US (including California), Canada or Australia, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it and ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
Wherever you are, you can use these rights by writing to us at [email protected] or through our contact page. We may need to confirm your identity before we act, and we will reply within the time the law allows.
This website is for businesses. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We will update this policy when the way we handle information changes, and show the new date at the top. If a change is significant we will make that clear on this page.
