Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to every client of SPEED LINX – F.Z.E who uses a service we host, manage or run — including websites, online stores, Odoo systems, servers, virtual machines, databases, email and DNS — and to anyone the client allows to use that service, such as staff, contractors and their own customers.
It forms part of each client agreement. Clients are responsible for making sure everyone using their service follows it.
Illegal and harmful content
You must not use our services to store, publish, send or link to:
- anything illegal in the country where the service is hosted or where you operate;
- child sexual abuse material — we report it to the authorities and remove it immediately;
- content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property, including pirated software or media;
- content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism, threatens or incites violence, or harasses people;
- fraudulent, deceptive or phishing content, including pages that imitate another business or collect login or payment details under false pretences;
- personal information collected or published without a lawful basis.
Spam and email abuse
- Send marketing email only to people who have agreed to receive it or where the law otherwise allows it, and include a working unsubscribe option.
- Do not send bulk unsolicited email, use bought or scraped lists, or forge or hide the sender.
- Do not use our servers to relay mail for others, host pages advertised by spam, or run open mail relays or open proxies.
- Keep bounce and complaint rates reasonable. Mail that harms the reputation of our servers or sending addresses may be paused.
Malware, attacks and security
- Do not host, send or spread malware, viruses, ransomware or other harmful code.
- Do not use our services to attack, scan, probe or break into any system or network — ours or anyone else’s — without the owner’s written permission.
- Do not launch or take part in denial-of-service attacks, botnets or crypto-mining on systems you do not own.
- Do not try to get around our security controls, monitoring, or the limits of your service.
- Keep your passwords and keys safe, use strong unique passwords, and tell us straight away if you think an account or system has been compromised.
Fair use of resources
Services must be used within the resources set out in your plan or agreement. You must not use a service in a way that harms the performance or stability of shared systems or other clients — for example runaway scripts, excessive processes, very large uncontrolled backups or file-sharing, or crypto-mining. If usage outgrows a plan, we will talk to you about the right size before taking any action, unless there is an immediate risk to other clients.
How we handle reports
We take every report seriously. When we receive one, we:
- check whether it concerns a service we run, and look at the evidence;
- contact the client, explain the problem and, where possible, give them a reasonable time to fix it;
- act straight away, without waiting, where there is serious harm — such as illegal content, active malware, an attack in progress, a phishing page, or a risk to other clients or our network;
- co-operate with law enforcement and other authorities where the law requires it.
Suspension and termination
If this policy is broken, we may remove or disable the content concerned, limit or suspend the affected service, or in serious or repeated cases end the service, in line with the client agreement. Where we can, we will tell the client first and work with them to restore the service once the problem is fixed. We will only do what is reasonably needed to stop the harm.
How to report abuse
To report spam, malware, phishing, illegal content, an attack or any other abuse coming from a system we run, please contact us through our contact page. Please include:
- the website address, IP address or email address involved;
- what happened and when (with the time zone);
- any evidence, such as full email headers or log lines;
- how we can reach you if we need more information.
For copyright or other intellectual property complaints, please identify the work, the material you believe infringes it and your connection to the rights holder.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the law, threats or our services change. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies. Where a change materially affects clients, we will let them know.
