Shopify WooCommerce integration

Shopify to WooCommerce stock and price sync, live within seconds.

When the same products sell on Shopify and on a WooCommerce store, we keep the WooCommerce side matching automatically. Shopify sends each stock or price change the moment it happens, we verify it came from Shopify, update WooCommerce, and clear the page cache so shoppers see the change straight away. A check every minute catches anything missed.
How it works
  • InstantSigned Shopify webhooks
  • Safety netCheck every minute
  • Fresh pagesCache cleared per product

The short answer

Can you connect Shopify to WooCommerce?

Yes — this is the integration we run live today. A common setup is a brand selling on Shopify and a retailer selling the same products on its own WooCommerce store. Without a connection, the retailer updates stock and prices by hand and sooner or later sells something the brand has already sold out of.

We connect the two so WooCommerce follows Shopify automatically. Shopify stays the source of truth; WooCommerce is updated within seconds of each change.

Rules

How are stock and prices mapped?

Rules are agreed with you before go-live. These are the ones our live setup uses.
On ShopifyOn WooCommerce
Stock of zero or belowOut of stock
PriceRegular price follows Shopify, with optional per-product adjustments
A “compare-at” price higher than the selling priceRegular price = compare-at; sale price = selling price
A bundle made of several variantsOne listing using the sum of its parts
Security

Is it safe to connect the two stores?

We give the integration only what it needs. On Shopify it reads stock and product data and cannot change anything. On WooCommerce, the receiving endpoint accepts only updates carrying Shopify’s signature, checked before anything is applied — so nobody else can push fake stock changes into your store.
  • Read-only access on the Shopify side
  • Every incoming update’s signature verified
  • A backup of stock and prices before the first change
  • Every change logged
Least access
  • ShopifyRead-only
  • WebhooksSignature checked
  • BackupBefore first write
  • LogEvery change
Built to be safe

How do you stop a sync from breaking our store?

Most of the pages that rank for store integration talk about features. None of the eight we read explain how they stop a sync writing the wrong stock or price to your live store. This is how we do it.
StepWhat we doWhy it matters
Product matchingYour team matches the products in a shared sheet; we check it twice, and you approve every linkA wrong match sells the wrong item. We never match products on your behalf
Dry runA read-only run compares both stores and reports every difference — nothing is writtenYou see problems, like items shown in stock that are sold out at the source, before go-live
BackupCurrent stock and prices are saved before the first changeAnything can be put back exactly as it was
Staged go-liveOne product first, checked on the live page, then the restA mistake affects one product, not the whole catalogue
Least accessRead-only access to the source store; the receiving side accepts only verified, signed updatesNobody can push fake stock changes into your store
MonitoringAutomatic checks with email alerts, and an email again when it is fixedYou hear about a problem in minutes, not from a customer
Monitoring

What happens if the sync stops?

Four automatic checks watch the integration: the receiver is up, the sync is running, there is no backlog, and there are no errors. If any fails, you get an email within 10 minutes — and another when it is fixed. We test the alerts by stopping the sync on purpose before handing over.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

How do I connect Shopify to WooCommerce?
With an integration that reads stock and prices from Shopify and writes them to WooCommerce. Ours uses Shopify’s instant webhooks plus a check every minute, after your team approves the product matches.
How fast does WooCommerce update?
Within seconds of a change on Shopify — about 3 seconds in a measured test on our live setup. The minute-by-minute check catches anything missed.
Do shoppers see the new stock straight away?
Yes. We clear the page cache for each changed product, so cached pages don’t show old stock or prices.
Can it sync the other way, WooCommerce to Shopify?
It can be built after a feasibility check. It needs write access on the Shopify side, so the direction, access and rules are agreed for your setup first.
What about bundles and sale prices?
Supported: a bundle can use the sum of its parts, and a Shopify compare-at price becomes a WooCommerce sale price.
