E-commerce integration services

Stock, prices and products in sync between your platforms — without overselling.

If you sell the same products in more than one place, stock and prices drift apart and customers buy things you no longer have. We connect your platforms so changes flow automatically: Shopify, WooCommerce, Odoo and other platforms with an API. Every product link is approved by you, tested in a read-only dry run, and monitored once it is live.
What we keep in sync
  • StockNever sell what you don’t have
  • PricesIncluding sale prices

The short answer

What is e-commerce integration?

E-commerce integration connects the systems you sell and manage stock in, so a change in one appears in the others automatically. The most common need is stock: when an item sells out at the source, every other store should show it as out of stock straight away. Prices and product details often need to follow too.

Off-the-shelf sync apps work for simple, identical catalogues. When the same product has different names, bundles or price rules in each place — or when one side is a supplier or an ERP like Odoo — a custom integration is usually more reliable, because the matching and rules are built around your catalogue rather than guessed.

How do you stop a sync from breaking our store?

Most of the pages that rank for store integration talk about features. None of the eight we read explain how they stop a sync writing the wrong stock or price to your live store. This is how we do it.
StepWhat we doWhy it matters
Product matchingYour team matches the products in a shared sheet; we check it twice, and you approve every linkA wrong match sells the wrong item. We never match products on your behalf
Dry runA read-only run compares both stores and reports every difference — nothing is writtenYou see problems, like items shown in stock that are sold out at the source, before go-live
BackupCurrent stock and prices are saved before the first changeAnything can be put back exactly as it was
Staged go-liveOne product first, checked on the live page, then the restA mistake affects one product, not the whole catalogue
Least accessRead-only access to the source store; the receiving side accepts only verified, signed updatesNobody can push fake stock changes into your store
MonitoringAutomatic checks with email alerts, and an email again when it is fixedYou hear about a problem in minutes, not from a customer
Speed

Real-time or scheduled sync?

Both, together. Instant updates handle normal changes; a regular check catches anything that slipped through.
Scheduled only
  • Stock is checked every few minutes or hours
  • Between checks, sold-out items can still be bought
  • Simple, but always a little behind
Instant + safety check (our approach)
  • The source sends each change the moment it happens
  • A check every minute catches anything missed
  • Shoppers see the new stock and price straight away

What does this look like in practice?

For a consumer-electronics accessories retailer, we connected the supplier brand’s Shopify store to the retailer’s own WooCommerce store. The read-only dry run found 11 products shown in stock that were already sold out at the source — orders waiting to go wrong. They were corrected before go-live, and 30 products now stay in sync automatically, with changes appearing within seconds.
  • 30 products matched and approved by the client
  • 11 products wrongly shown in stock, corrected before go-live
  • Dry run, go-live and instant updates on the same day
  • Monitoring with email alerts added two days later

FAQ

Questions we get asked

What is e-commerce integration?
Connecting the platforms you sell and manage stock in so that stock, prices and product details stay the same everywhere, automatically.
Can you connect any two platforms?
Any platform with an API can usually be connected. We check feasibility first. Live and proven today: Shopify to WooCommerce; we also connect Odoo and other API-based platforms.
How fast does stock update?
In our live Shopify to WooCommerce setup, stock and price changes appear within seconds, with a check every minute as a safety net.
Do you match the products for us?
No — your team does, because you know your catalogue. We give you a sheet, check it carefully, and nothing goes live until you approve every link.
How do you prevent overselling?
Instant updates when stock changes, a regular safety check, and sold-out rules (zero or below at the source means out of stock). The dry run also finds mismatches before go-live.
Why not use a sync app?
Apps suit simple, identical catalogues. When products differ between stores, include bundles or special price rules, or connect to an ERP, a custom integration avoids wrong matches.
How is it priced?
Quoted after a short feasibility check, once we know your platforms, number of products and rules. Ask for a quote.
