Scope

What does an ecommerce design project include?

A complete store, ready to take real orders on launch day. That covers the design of your home, category, product, cart and checkout pages; your catalog set up with variants, prices, stock and images; shipping zones and rates; tax settings; payment methods; and the emails your customers receive when they order.

We also set up the pieces that keep a store healthy after launch: analytics, search-engine basics such as an XML sitemap and product schema, redirects if you are replacing an old site, and the contact and policy pages shoppers look for before they trust a new store. Before the switch we place test orders through every payment method and check every email.

What we do not do is pick the platform for you before we understand the business. The first conversation is about your products, your customers and how you fulfill orders. The platform follows from that.

Which platform do you recommend?

How long does an online store take to build?

Yes. Send us a spreadsheet or give us access to your current store, and we import and check the catalog as part of the build. If you have no product data yet, we give you a template to fill in.

Will the store work well on phones?

Every store is designed for phones first: large tap targets, quick-loading images and a checkout that works with one thumb. We test on real phones before launch.

What does it cost to run a store afterwards?

For WooCommerce, a monthly hosting and care plan plus any paid plugins. For Shopify, your Shopify plan and apps, paid to Shopify, plus optional care from us. We set out the running costs with the build quote.
