01 · Why size matters
Bigger isn't cooler. It's just louder on your bill.
Most of the "it never feels right" calls we get are sizing problems, not faulty units. Here is what each one looks like over a hot afternoon.
Short bursts, sticky air
It overshoots, switches off, then starts again. Short runs don't pull much moisture out of the air, so it can feel cold and clammy at once. You also paid more up front.
Gets there, then cruises
An inverter unit of the right size reaches the setting and then ticks over gently. That is where it runs quietest and most efficiently.
02 · Systems
Split, multi-head or ducted.
All reverse-cycle, so the same system heats in July. We fit Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and Fujitsu, and tell you plainly when a cheaper option will do the job.

One total. No "+ install".
The price we quote is the price you pay for the job described, with GST and the standard install inside it. If something on site changes it, we tell you before we start, in writing.

04 · Servicing
A proper service, not a filter wipe.
Before summer, every year. Perth dust and coastal salt clog coils and corrode outdoor units faster than most people expect.

01Filters washed and dried
Out, washed and refitted dry. We show you how, so you can do it every few weeks in summer.
02Indoor coil and fan cleaned
A coil cleaner and bag-and-rinse on the barrel fan, which is where the musty smell lives.
03Drain line cleared
Flushed and tested so it doesn't drip down your wall on the first 40-degree day.
04Outdoor unit rinsed
Leaves and dust cleared from the coil, fan checked, and the area around it cleared for airflow.
05Electrical and performance check
Connections tightened, supply and return air temperatures measured, and the refrigerant system checked for signs of a leak.
06A short written report
What we did, what we saw, and anything worth watching. No upsell list.

Unit died in a heatwave?
Call us before 11 am and we aim to see you the same day across metro Perth. We prioritise homes with babies, older people or anyone unwell in the heat. Winter heating failures get the same treatment. Call-out fee $149 incl. GST, taken off the repair if you go ahead (sample).

07 · Questions
How accurate is the room sizer?
It's a rule of thumb, nothing more. Real sizing looks at window size and shading, roof colour, how many people use the room and what's above it. We do that on site, free, before we quote.
Should I get one big unit for the whole open-plan area?
Sometimes. Often two smaller units placed well cool a long L-shaped space more evenly than one large one at the end. We'll show you both options and the price of each.
Do you do rebates?
Programmes change often, so we never build a rebate into a price. If a current WA or federal programme applies to you, we'll point you to the official page so you can check the current amounts yourself.
What licences should an installer have?
Anyone handling refrigerant needs an ARC refrigerant handling licence, and the business needs an ARC trading authorisation. In WA, the electrical connection must be done by a licensed electrician working for a licensed electrical contractor. You can check all of ours using the links at the top of this page.
