You email a simple question and hear back when it's no longer useful.
We look after sole traders, limited companies and landlords across Leicestershire. When you move to us, we do the letters, the chasing and the HMRC paperwork with your old accountant. Your part is mostly saying yes.
These are the reasons new clients give us in their first call. If two or more sound familiar, it may be time for a change of lane.

You explain your business again and again to whoever picks up your file.
Every phone call or quick question seems to turn up on an invoice later.
Your return gets done in a rush, and you only hear from them when it's due.
You started as a sole trader, now you have staff, a company or rental property.
You pay every year but couldn't say exactly what's included.

The baton changes lanes. Your old accountant passes on what we ask for: recent accounts and returns, working papers and access to your bookkeeping software.
Nothing, mostly. Perhaps add us as a user in your software.
Send a clear list, check it all arrives and flag any gaps early.
We ask HMRC to let us act as your agent so we can deal with them for you. How it works on GOV.UK.
Approve the request when HMRC asks. We tell you what to look out for.
Submit the request and confirm with you once it's in place.
At our Leicester office or on video. We go through what we've received, what's coming up and how you like to work.
Bring 45 minutes and your questions. Tea is on us.
Send a written plan of who does what, and when.
From here, your named accountant runs the rest of the race.

Two flats, a full-time job and no idea what I was paying for. Now there's one page that tells me.
