Hedge & tree cuttings
Bagged or loose, conifer to laurel. We rake up the bits we drop.
No skip on the drive, no council permit, no week of loading it yourself. Send us a photo, get a fixed all-in price, and two of us clear the lot, usually within 90 minutes.
Pick your job and where a skip would sit. Both lanes run through cost, permit, days until it is gone and the hours of lifting you do. Lower is better at every gate. Sometimes the skip wins, and we will say so.
Typical Exeter skip hire, sample figures
Two crew, one visit, sample all-in price
Results show here when both lanes finish.
All figures are samples for a demo, including VAT. Skip costs are typical Exeter hire prices for the size shown; a road permit is a sample council fee with a sample 2-day wait. "Days till gone" counts from booking to the waste leaving your property. "Your lifting" is our estimate of the hours you would spend loading.
We load from wherever it sits: back garden, side path or the far end of an allotment. Sample "from" prices include VAT and tip fees.
Bagged or loose, conifer to laurel. We rake up the bits we drop.
Overgrown beds, old pots, compost bins and the pile behind the shed.
Taken down and taken away. Glass is boxed before it is lifted.
Priced by weight in bulk bags, because a van of soil weighs far more than a van of leaves.
Rusty sets, broken loungers and cold barbecues. Gas bottles not included (see below).
Old panels, posts and rotten boards, nails and all.
Every figure includes VAT, loading and tip fees. Send a photo and we fix the price before we come.
We tell you before we load a thing, give you the new price, and you can say no. No call-out charge if you do.
If it is smaller, you pay the smaller price.
Since 2023 English councils can fine householders up to £600 if their waste is dumped by an unregistered carrier. A thirty-second check of the public register stops that.
Seen fly-tipping? Report it to your council through gov.uk/report-flytipping. Do not touch bags that could hold sharp or hazardous items.
We are not licensed for hazardous waste, so we will not take these, even if asked nicely.
Old shed roofs and garage panels can contain it. Do not break it up. Use a licensed asbestos contractor; some council tips accept small, wrapped amounts by arrangement.
Patio heater and BBQ cylinders go back to the supplier or a stockist of that brand. Many tips take them too.
Weedkillers, pesticides and old paint. Keep them in their containers and take them to the council's household waste recycling centre.
Japanese knotweed and similar need specialist control and disposal. Use an invasive-plant contractor, and do not put it in the green bin.
Composting site photo slotSample shares for 2025–26, by weight. How we measure it: every tip gives us a weight ticket per load; we add up tonnes by destination and divide by total tonnes collected.
Sample reviews for this demo. A live site would pull real ones with the platform and count shown.
"Priced from one photo, turned up on the Thursday, and the conifer mountain was gone before my tea went cold."
"They told me a skip would be cheaper for our patio dig. Hired one, then booked them for the shed. Honest lot."
"Transfer note arrived by email the same afternoon. Lane was narrow and they still swept it."
No, as long as we can reach the waste and you have agreed the price from your photo. We send before-and-after photos and the waste transfer note by email.
For a weekly trickle of grass cuttings, the council brown bin is better value. We make sense for one big job the bin would take months to clear.
Often, if you book before 11am and we have a van in your area. We tell you the slot when we confirm the price, and we do not promise times we cannot keep.
We load from the road or your drive while we are there, so no skip permit is needed. If parking is tight, tell us and we bring the smaller van.
Usually back within the hour in working hours (sample). Mon to Sat, 7:30am to 6pm.
